Refusal to Sink

a mental health awareness blog: creating a space to eliminate the stigmas and engage in conversation

Refusal to Sink Logo

This is the official logo of Refusal to Sink.  It is a drawing of a buoy since a buoy keeps someone afloat.  Likewise, we as humans each have our own buoy– whether that be music, God, family, hope, friends, a loved one, art, dance, or whatever.  It refuses to let us sink.  Therefore, we refuse to sink as well.  We will stay afloat.

This beautiful yet simple art piece was done by my dear friend Emily.  She is an amazing artist who does commissions as well. If you want to see some of her artwork, you can find her on Instagram as emmysart_

I cannot thank her enough for supporting me and being a part of this.  Truly, this logo means so much. Thank you, Emily.

Sincerely,

Bethany Cohen

Hello there! I run a blog called Refusal To Sink which is the name of my global mental health awareness nonprofit that I hope to create one day. I am currently going to college to learn how to create one. I am a person of optimism, hope, and ambition. I love Cherry Garcia ice cream, vintage shopping, offbeat indie films, and concerts. Email me @: bethanysrcohen@gmail.com. All the best. Sincerely, Bethany Cohen View all posts by bethanyrose
