Quote of December

My pastor Kenny Green of Gateway Central in Austin, Texas was giving a message called “How to Kill a Relationship: Always Get Your Way”.  He tells the story of Viktor Frankl in which Pastor Green says:

  1. “They have taken from me everything that I have, except the power to choose my own attitude.” -Viktor Frankl
  2. We can choose our own attitude each and everyday.  It is not dependent on that other person. See how things change when you lead by example.  Be flexible. Lead with grace. Look for the best for that person that you are so irritated with today.  You can be a person that is building a relationship even when it feels like it is falling apart.
  3. Lord, would you change us?
